ARC REVIEW — Bell, Book & Candlemas (A Wiccan Wheel Mystery #2) by Jennifer David Hesse

Keli Milanni is an attorney and a Wiccan but likes to keep that last fact to herself in fear of the reproductions it may have on her personal and professional life.

When her favorite gift shop (and Wiccan store) gets vandalized with the word WITCH Keli stops in to check on its owner (and fellow Wiccan) Mila. Soon she learns that Mila has also been getting threatening messages and somehow Mila’s misfortune if connected with a rash of burglaries in town.

Putting her fears of being found out aside, Keli is soon investigating with the help of her BFF Farrah, and her boyfriend Wes. When someone turns up dead, things start heating up and if they can’t figure out who is threatening Mila before Candlemas there may be more than just the one body to deal with…

I enjoyed this one a lot. It was well written. The plot flowed nicely. The mystery kept me guessing right up to the end. It had likable characters, and I found the Wiccan aspect of the story interesting as well.

If you love cozy mysteries, then this one should definitely find it’s way on your TO READ list as soon as possible. Two thumbs up from yours truly.
