All the covers for this series are basically the same so all my comments will remain the same as well for each book. I like the cover on this one a lot. Obviously, it is a great representation of the story (and series). It has good composition and title work as well.
This one was another great read in this collection. Well written and well paced. It was engaging and kept me turning the pages. The one sex scene was hot. No ow/om drama or angst. Both main characters were extremely likable. And now I want to read more about the FILTHY FUCKERS MC. Two solid thumbs up from yours truly.
GREED by Geri Glenn
He swoops in like a fantasy and steals my heart, but his insatiable greed will ruin us both.
Huh, so I gotta admit this is the type of book I don’t usually go for. The heroine is a pornstar. We have sex scenes with OM. We have a (HIGHLIGHT TEXT TO SEE SPOILER) rape scene as well. But I have to admit I pretty much loved every second of this one. It was very well written and paced. The plot surprisingly held some depth for it being such a short book. The sex scenes were SMOKIN’ hot (lord were they smokin” hot) and plentiful. The characters were intriguing. Although I did find Alex a tad “preachy” at times. And that ending…PERFECT. So yea, totally impressed by this one. Two HUGE thumbs up from yours truly.

I flipping LOVED this one. Super well written and paced. The plot was engaging and kept me turning the pages. The sex scenes were hot. No OW/OM drama. I LOVED Dallas with a burning passion of a thousand suns. He was the perfect anti-hero to me. I loved April just as much. I adored these two together so much that my only complaint is I wish this had been a fully fleshed out full-length book. This one gets two HUGE thumbs up from yours truly.
Oh man, so this novella was like a high octane Rambo movie. One brother is seeking his revenge against the other for daring to take someone he loves. It was pretty gruesome in parts, but I enjoyed it. It was well written and well paced. The plot was engaging and kept me turning the pages. I felt like maybe this was part of a series or maybe there was going to be a series about these characters?? I am not sure, but there seemed to be some backstory about these two brothers and Jade that is alluded to in this one. There were a couple of brief sex scenes that were hot. And the main character was interesting and likable. The ending though…No me gusta.
Yesh, this one was cringe-worthy. Not in a “this is a bad book” way, but there was WAY too much cutting and blood. *shiver* That said, this was another great addition to this series. Well written and very well paced. The plot was engaging and quite dark and kept me turning the pages. Again I felt this one had some good depth considering how short each of these novellas is. There is only one sex scene in this one, and it isn’t very detailed. That was OK because it fits with the overall tone of the book. Lastly, that ending was…WHOA. But totally fitting for the story. This one gets two solid thumbs up from yours truly.

I have enjoyed every book in this series so far but at 50% I am choosing to set this one aside and call it a day. I just wasn’t feeling it. One, I am not a fan of heroines that are female military personnel, so I have to admit I was disengaged from the beginning when I realized that is what this was going to entail. I also like my heroines less in your face and softer, so I never warmed up to Vanna. Even the way she spoke annoyed me to no end. Stud this and stud that…sigh. I don’t know; everything just felt like it was all about sex without any romance. Of course, this one is LUST, so maybe that was the point! Then at the halfway point it took a turn that completely turned me off (HIGHLIGHT TEXT TO SEE SPOILER) heroine was captured and gang-raped and tortured and that was the final straw. The author completely lost me at that point. I guess expecting to love all seven novellas was too much to ask for…sigh.
In any case, it was well written and paced. The plot was engaging and kept me turning the pages. There is only one sex scene in the book, and it was NOT in the least sexy (shiver). Again for being such a short book page wise, this had some good depth to the story. The main character although thoroughly unlikable was intriguing none the less. Lastly, I wasn’t a huge fan of the way this one ended. It didn’t really fit the tone of the rest of the book and was a little too uncomplicated in my opinion. So a bit of a mixed bag this one but it still gets a solid thumbs up from yours truly.
